In spite of political infighting and a bipartisan reluctance for rubber stamping Biden’s spending agenda, the economy is contracting at a record pace. Holding down expenses at the expense of economic progress is getting more expensive, daily. The result is increasing unemployment, in spite of plentiful jobs and rising inflation, in spite of spending reluctance. This confluence of negative energies is generating a near-immediate effect on the U.S. Dollar and it won’t get better anytime soon. The dollar’s coming devaluation will have a traumatic effect on all aspects of the economy. The Wall Street Journal recently called it “inevitable.” Yahoo Finance warned, “More than $40 trillion of retirement savings is at risk.” Billionaire hedge fund manager, Paul Tudor, called money in the bank a “wasting asset” and Ray Dalio said, “Cash is trash. We are approaching a limit that will be a paradigm shift.”

As empowered by Congress, the Federal Reserve has promised to print unlimited amounts of money in order to stimulate the economy, but without the workforce and an economic agenda agreed to and ready to fire on all cylinders the dollar’s collapse could be monumental. Peter Schiff, Euro Pacific Capital’s CEO, has warned that, “The U.S. is about to experience one of the greatest inflationary periods in world history” and Paul Tudor Jones specifically said that, “We are witnessing ‘the great monetary inflation’ – an unprecedented expansion of every form of money, unlike anything the developed world has ever seen. The best profit-maximizing strategy is to own the fastest horse. It reminds me of the role gold played in the 1970s.”

It’s a great analogy, because it highlights for people who may not have lived through the 70’s inflationary period and reminds those who did, how powerful a protective force gold, silver, and other physical precious metals can be when utilized to protect a stock portfolio, retirement portfolio and/or family’s financial legacy. Today’s prices are just another good reason to rapidly acquire physical precious metals. If you’d like to learn how to own gold and silver,
